We pride ourselves on using only the latest in advanced dental technology at our office, which is why we're excited to offer dental implants, a cutting-edge way to restore your smile to its full potential.

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are used to replace the root or roots of teeth, providing a solid anchor for a crown to sit on. The implants are placed surgically, and once planted, they're completely invisible from the outside and indistinguishable from natural teeth. In cases where a tooth is lost, damaged, or decayed beyond repair, dental implants can allow a patient to regain a complete, beautiful, and fully functional smile.

We use implants made from titanium and titanium alloys, but it's not just because titanium is such a strong, lightweight metal. Titanium has a remarkable property known as osseointegration, coming from the roots "osseo," for bone, and "integration," meaning to join or fuse together. This means that once implanted, titanium has the ability to literally fuse with the bone around it - making it a peerless material for surgical implants.

Once we insert the dental implant, we'll top it with a crown, which is a tooth-shaped covering made of a strong, biocompatible material that matches the color of your surrounding teeth. Once you're done, you'll have a brand new tooth that's strong, indistinguishable from those around it, and will last the rest of your life!
