Did you know that after graduation from dental school, every dentist in California must keep their license updated with 50 units of dental education? Drs Hill and Schneidmiller have attended the California Dental Association convention for 27 consecutive years and procured many units at this site. The Southern California Convention takes place in Anaheim, right across the street from the mouse house (Disneyland), so it’s an easy drive up the 5 from San Diego. This year, topics ranged from: Cigarettes/Hookah/Bidis to Caries (decay) Detection modes. And yes, both doctors stayed awake for all seminars!
Fortunately, the doctors take continuing education seriously and sift through the courses to find those which will most benefit their patients. They also spend time to research and compare new equipment for the building, whether it be small instruments for the mouth or large sterilizers for the office. These are some of the ways that Drs Hill and Schneidmiller serve the future needs of the practice.
