Sunshine Tax
As I’m driving home today, I’m feeling quite put out by all those gray things in the sky, blowing about; not to mention the wet stuff that got all over me this morning. Living in San Diego, it seems quite rude of Mother Nature to interrupt our 76 degree/partly cloudy perennial weather! Most of us are aware that we pay more in general to live in Southern California and after talking with many of my ‘dental kids’ (you know, the ones that were little 20-some odd years ago, but now are tall and are attending school in Chicago, New York, Washington DC; at Duke, Gonzaga or as far away as British Columbia and as south as….well…SDSU)—they say we should be happy with the bits of wet weather we get; apparently it’s still pretty darn good here. Yep, I’m feeling much better about our sunshine tax. The IRS tax stuff is another thing altogether….
